Workshops with the Latino Farmers Cooperative

The Latino Farmers Cooperative has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share on many topics from the cultivation to the preparation of quality food in growing condtions as diverse as those found in any city in America. Workshops are another way in which this accumulated knowledge can be shared with the community. Current workshop topics include cheese-making and keeping chickens in an urban environment.

There is a fee associated with these workshops in order to both cover the cost of materials and time and also to generate revinue for the many initiatives that the Cooperative sponsers and holds. Watch the workshops page to keep updated on the schedule. Or email Kathia Duran for more information.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the event, but we cannot guarantee you one of the limited spots unless you reserve a ticket ahead of time. Be sure to include the date of the workshop for which you are purchaseing the ticket.
